Mission and Policy

Kanorado Corporation has a 30+ year track record of safe, on-schedule and environmentally friendly operations. To maintain these high standards, Kanorado Corporation is committed to implement and perpetuate environmental policy and practice that conforms to -or exceeds- local, state and federal standards. By using criteria from ANSI, ISO, NIOSH, MSHA, OSHA, EPA and other accredited organizations;

Kanorado Corporation’s Environmental Mission and Policy are characterized by published guidelines in:

—recognizing that environmental management is among the highest Kanorado Corporation priorities,

—establishing and maintaining communication and constructive relations with internal and external     interested parties,

—identifying the environmental aspects of the Kanorado Corporation's activities, products and services,

—identifying the legal requirements and other requirements which are applicable, and integrating those     into our environmental practice and policy,

—ensuring the commitment of management and all persons working for or on behalf of Kanorado     Corporation to the protection of the environment, with clear assignment of accountability and     responsibility,

—encouraging environmental planning throughout the product or service life cycle,

—establishing a process for achieving environmental objectives and targets,

—providing appropriate and sufficient resources, including training, to comply with applicable legal     requirements and with other requirements to which the organization subscribes, and to achieve     environmental objectives and targets on an ongoing basis,

—evaluating environmental performance against Kanorado Corporation’s environmental policy,     objectives and targets,

—establishing a management process to audit and review the environmental management system and     to identify opportunities for improvement of the system and resulting environmental performance,

—encouraging our contractors and suppliers to establish an environmental management system,

—assuring customers of our commitment to demonstrable environmental management,

—maintaining good public/community relations,

—satisfying investor criteria and improving access to capital,

—obtaining insurance at reasonable cost,

—enhancing image and market share,

—improving cost control,

—reducing incidents that result in injury and/or liability,

—conserving input materials and energy,

—facilitating the attainment of permits and authorizations and meeting their requirements,

—promoting environmental awareness among suppliers, contractors and all persons working for or on     behalf of Kanorado Corporation,

—fostering development and sharing of solutions to environmental problems, and

—improving customer, investor, industry and government relations.

An integral part of Kanorado Corporation’s Environmental Commitment is to conform to local, state and federal operational guidelines; and to exceed those guidelines whenever possible. Equally important is our understanding that we are all interrelated environmentally. We are your neighbors and your fellow citizens; and we have to live here, too.
